Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam Al-Kawthari
A traditionally-trained Islamic scholar, having studied in the UK, Pakistan, and Syria. He has received ijazahs from major scholars in various Islamic disciplines, including Hadith and issuing religious verdicts (Fatwa). The Shaykh is also the author of a number of celebrated works on issues such as marriage and finance. He continues to travel regularly, teaching and lecturing both in the UK and abroad.
Shaykh Muhammed ibn Mahbub
A graduate of Darul Uloom Leicester, he completed his Islamic Scholarship Degree with distinction as well as receiving formal ijazahs in the Ten Readings (Qira'at) and Hadith. He currently lectures at his alma mater on various Islamic sciences along with working on syllabus development. He also serves as a resident Imam at Masjid Mu'adh Ibn Jabal in Leicester.
Imam Muhammad Ziyad Batha
Holds formal Ijazahs in Hadith, Qur'an memorisation, Fiqh, Islamic scholarship, and Qur’anic Readings from scholars in the UK, Egypt, and other countries. He also achieved an MA degree from SOAS University. He is currently based in South London, where he leads a school Islamic Studies department and edits Islamic literature. He also serves globally as an Imam, Khateeb, and teacher.
Ustādh Saiyed Mahmud
Serves as a resident Imam, Khateeb, and a teacher of Islamic Sciences in North London. He specialises in grassroots community support, with a focus on assisting reverts. He also served as an editor and proof-reader for a global Islamic publishing house. The Shaykh holds formal licenses in Qira’ah, Qur’an memorisation, Islamic scholarship, Hadith, Aqidah, and other disciplines.
Imam Uthmaan Hafejee
Holds formal licenses in various Islamic sciences including Qira’ah, Fiqh, and Aqidah. He has also undertaken further specialisations in Tafsir and Hadith. The Shaykh currently serves as Imam and Head of Religious Services, locally, at Bashir Ahmed Masjid in Southampton, where he manages youth initiatives, education, sermons, and pastoral care.
Ustādh Amaan Rahman
A specialist Islamic educator, serving as a curriculum developer and guest lecturer at UK universities. He holds BA and MA degree qualifications in Islamic Studies with Education. This is in addition to formal licenses in Islamic scholarship and the Ten Readings (Qira’at), along with specialisations in Tafsir and Hadith. He currently serves as an Imam and teacher at Masjid-ul-Imam-il-Bukhari, Leicester.
